CNBLUE's Minhyuk has been confirmed for the upcoming SBS drama 'Heirs'!
Although Yonghwa declined his casting offer for 'Heirs', fans can now expect to see another member of CNBLUE in the star-studded drama. FNC Entertainment confirmed, "Minhyuk has been confirmed to star to 'Heirs'. Following his role in KBS 2TV's 'You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly' last year, [Minhyuk] was considering productions and recently received a love call from writer Kim Eun Sook and decided to accept the casting offer."
'Heirs' reps commented, "Writer Kim Eun Sook was looking for an actor who fits the kind, happy-go-lucky character of Yoon Chan Young and eventually decided to cast Minhyuk." They also noted that the character Minhyuk has been cast for is not the same character Yonghwa was in talks for previously.
Minhyuk will join Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Sung Ryung, f(x)'s Krystal, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kim Woo Bin, ZE:A's Hyungsik, Kim Ji Won, Lim Joo Eun, and Kang Ha Neul, who have all already been confirmed or are in the final stages of completing their casting offer for 'Heirs', which will air later this year!

1. [+121, -3] Wait a second, if he's the lead role for a love triangle, what's Kim Woo Bin then? This drama has a lot of leads
2. [+110, -3] What about Kim Woo Bin??????????
3. [+107, -7] So he'll be in a love triangle with Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye...? I'm not his anti but he really doesn't fit in
4. [+99, -3] Didn't they say Kim Woo Bin was in the love triangle...? Eh...?
5. [+86, -4] CNBLUE's agency is the problem;;; They don't know how to handle matters properly like the issues with their senior group and drama castings... They made Juniel get so much hate with all the media play and made F.T. Island get unnecessary hate with weird media play.. They never media play about anything good and let all of it get buried. They don't even seem to care about promoting AOA except for Seol Hyun with acting... The agency needs to wake up for their artists to get less hate.. I really feel bad for their artists.
6. [+85, -6] Hul, he's a lead...? Does he have the skills for it?
7. [+74, -3] Too many idols in this casting
8. [+64, -2] So they went with Kang Minhyuk instead of Lee Jonghyun
9. [+68, -8] Hul, that's a lot of idols...? And why him instead of Yonghwa or Jonghyun? And why is this group all going into acting??;; I don't think they have the skills for it
10. [+54, -4] I think Lee Min Ho and Choi Jin Hyuk should leave the drama... Who thought the casting would end up like this...
