YONGHWA TO MAKE A DRAMA COMEBACK WITH 'HEIRS'

As a fan, I will support him regardless, but from the perspective of a viewer, I think three times is a bit much.

I have so many thoughts on this -- I'm simultaneously jumping up and down gleefully, but at the same time shaking my head sadly at all the incredible hate directed towards the pairing (and, I've noticed, much of it towards Shin-Hey. Because she clearly held a gun to his head and forced Yong-Hwa to sign on, right?).
ReplyDeleteI know I'm plagiarizing myself here, basically, but this is what I wrote on dramabeans (I don't usually comment, but there was so much hate and so many unfair comments, I felt I had to say something):
Wow . . .a lot of negativity here! As a fan of all three actors. I’m pleased to see them getting work, and it will be fun to see them in the same drama. I’ll admit that I’m not thrilled about them playing high school students, since Shin Hye and Min Ho, especially, have done more mature roles. However, I’m willing to give it a chance. Frankly, while everyone is entitled to their opinions, I can’t understand someone calling themselves a “fan” of someone but not wanting them to get work. At least watch the show once before you trash it! Plus, keep in mind that there are multiple pairings in K-dramas, so Yong-Hwa’s charachter may not come in contact with Shin-Hye’s.
As for the personal rumors, what the actors do in their own lives is their business, and as long as they’re being professional on-set, I don’t care. Why should people care that being in a drama will give rise to dating rumors, as long as the drama is good? People will always talk about something, and if actors rejected choices on the basis of rumors they might engender, they would never work at all!
It could end up being a disaster, but it could easily end up being a fun drama as well. I urge everyone who’s a true fan of any of these three to take a deep breath, keep an open mind, don’t get influenced by personal feelings about real-life pairings, and give the drama a chance.

While I don't think everybody has to like the pairing, it is honestly beyond me how people claiming to be Yong-Hwa's fans can write such nasty comments about the pairing. He chose the role, so don't they get they're trashing *him* when they do that? As for the nasty comments about Shin-Hye, I can't even. She's always seemed like such a sweet, mature person and a good actress. Does it make people feel better about themselves and their sad little lives to do that? I even saw someone say that Shin Hye had her agency threaten the director that she wouldn't do the drama unless Yong Hwa came on board. What?!
I want to end on a positive note, by saying that I had to come to a place where I knew people would be excited, as I am, and would wish them both well. I'm looking forward to the drama, and to discussing it with everyone when it airs -- in a positive way!
as i can see,yung hwa love to work with shinhye forever...as u can hear or see in his lyrics...in hey you," love forever" pointing towards shinhye while singing the song,his message to shinhye in her FM " yung hwa will support PSH even in 100yrs! treatened? impossible!!!! he just want to work only with shin hye,period! thats why he accepts big roles w/ a big yr gap between his films,probably he just didnt accept any big roles w/o PSH included in the film! he would rather indulge himself writing songs than working in another film w/o shinhye!!!!

Deletei'm really glad being a YongShin fan..u guys really awesome & low profile even other shippers hate us..we still strong & believe in our couple...this is Yonghwa's choice to be with Shinhye again in drama...no one force him to do that...so why other fandom hate him ?LOL...and i really upset for some people who claimed themself as Yonghwa's fan but then can't accept him with Shinhye...wae?

Delete@Anonymous 2- I don't like to point fingers without knowing the facts, but I honestly think a lot of the people making these nasty comments are YongSeo fans. That's the only thing to explain the level of hate and nastiness I'm seeing. Usually, if you don't like a drama or the actors, just don't watch, right? Why spend so much time and emotional effort attacking something that a) nobody is forcing you to watch and b) hasn't even happened yet?! It must be because they're angry about the YongShin pairing. A few weeks ago the media was talking about the alleged living in the same apartment thing, and now the focus is on YongShin and their drama, so they act out like spoilt children.
ReplyDeleteI love how they act like Shin Hye is forcing Yong Hwa to do this, and that he had no say in the matter ("Poor Yong Hwa, he only gets to work with her!"). They just can't admit he made the choice to do it. My only consolation about all this hate is that they will be sitting there seething throughout the drama, especially when all the cute BTSs come out :).

Im just so hapy and in party mode since yesterday after i read the news to mind the haters... im just a little worried that shinhye wud read those useless,comment... so if ever she will see this site i want HER TO KNOW THAT WERE SO LOOKING FORWARD FOR THIS DRAMA... becuz SHE WAS DOING IT WITH YONGHWA for 3RD TIME... ReplyDeleteI don't care about those people bashing them.It's the writer's choice to choose Yonghwa to be the 2nd male lead.It only proves that Yonghwa have the ability to act and captures the hearts of the viewers.I respect those people criticizing them but it's not right to judge other people.instead of bashing,criticizing and judging Yonghwa,they must see their own self first.there are a lot of people looking forward to see their drama,than those none sense haters and bashers! ReplyDeletei am personally happy with their 3rd drama..as their i-fans, of course, i and maybe all their fans around the world would like to see more of them..Yonghwa is considered new in acting, as we can see in YAB, he is a newbie, struggling..and in Heartstrings, he is improving with the help again from Shinhye and the team..

Oh god,, why so many people so busy to comment about YongShin couple?.. #Huftt.. If you don't like this pairing, you just don't watch it!!! And why if yonghwa like act with shinhye? Shinhye is senior in acting, and I think its normal if shinhye help him in acting. And so do yonghwa as senior in music. Yonghwa help shinhye in music. I think the producer choose yonghwa to work with shinhye again in her drama because she saw good chemistry between them.and just pls respect it! Let them alone..
