Park Shin Hye presents a Special Gift to 180 Heirs Staff Members

*****
1. [+835, -54] She's already famous for taking care of her staff and anyone around her. In her previous drama, there was a huge car accident where she injured her leg but she was the only one who woke up to call 119 and send all of her staff to the ER. She was the last one to leave. I remember reading her director's interview about it. She still showed up to the film set on a wheelchair and smiled for everyone, which the director was grateful for. Amazing that she's pretty, acts well, and has a great attitude as well.

2. [+622, -54] The more you get to know her, the more you realize what great of a person she is

3. [+610, -49] A person with a pretty face doing only pretty things...

4. [+54, -5] A lot of the people who attend Joongang University give her lots of compliments saying she doesn't make it obvious that she's a celebrity and will even stay late after school festivals to help clean up

5. [+44, -4] There are a lot of accounts of her staying up all night at her university to study. She also utilizes public transportation to get to school.

6. [+43, -9] The gifts were bought with her own personal money, they were not sponsored

7. [+32, -9] There's a reason she's so popular

8. [+30, -4] A scriptwriter who worked with Park Shin Hye called her an angel... she'd try to brighten up the atmosphere whenever the film set turned cold. What a great personality she has.

Yoon Eun Hye Cries to Jung Yong Hwa

 photo 1383868454-25-org_zps53aac893.jpg

A new set of stills is released early today for the upcoming episode of Mi Rae’s Choice.
In the stills we see Na Mi Rae (Yoon Eun Hye) crying and treating her painful burnt wound on her ankle while Park Se Joo (Jung Yong Hwa) looks at her with so much affection. He also offers her tissues to dry her tears. So at a situation like this, where is the man who has her heart, Kim Shin(Lee Dong Gun)?
The stills aren’t very telling with what happened but from the trailer, Oppa looks like he is trying to break up Shin and Mi Rae and Shin tells Mi Rae to decide for her own future. That must have led Mi Rae to a bit of despair or they had another argument. Sighh… Se Joo-ya, just let her be will ya?

"The Heirs" Gains On "Secrets"

The Heirs
Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum

The highly anticipated high school drama "The Heirs," is gaining on the first-place ratings winner "Secrets." The melodrama "Secrets" had a 15.8 percent rating this week, while "The Heirs" rose to 13.4 percent.

And this week both dramas were all about the secrets.
"Secrets," which stars Ji Sung, Hwang Jung Eum, Bae Soo Bin and Lee Da Hee, saw Ji Sung openly declare his love for Hwang Jung Eum and reject his proposed marriage-business merger with Lee Da Hee. That secret threatened to cut him off from the father he so hoped to impress with his business acumen. But there are still plenty of secrets left to reveal, namely who killed Ji Sung's lost love and what actually happened to Hwang Jung Eum's father.

It's a show with a plot that often doesn't make enough sense but the acting is so good and the desire for justice so strong that viewers stay tuned. Hopefully Hwang Jung Eum's loyal self-sacrificing character will stop saying she is sorry in the last few episodes and get some revenge on the people who have treated her so badly.

In second place, "The Heirs" had a few secrets of its own to reveal. Lee Min Ho confessed his love for Park Shin Hye but that was hardly a secret. Kim Woo Bin discovered the secret of Park Shin Hye's background and met Lee Min Ho's actual mother. These secrets now place him in a position of power as he can use them to make life miserable for his rival and the girl he cares for. "The Heirs" only rose 0.3 percent in the rating, but it is gaining on "Secrets."

What is making this drama slightly more interesting in these last few episodes are the subtle signs of actual compassion and concern in Kim Woo Bin's character. Does the bully have a chance at redemption? There are hints that the long established pecking order in the heirs' school is about to change.

With such high anticipation for "The Heirs," MBC's drama "Medical Top Team," which stars Kwon Sang Woo, Jung Ryeo Won, Ju Ji Hoon, Oh Yeon Seo and SHINee's Choi Minho started with a serious disadvantage. And the drama never managed to recover. This week's ratings were a poor 4.4 percent of viewers.

On the variety show front, MBC's radio star earned 7.4 percent in the ratings, while the SBS show "Couples" earned 5.8 percent.

What really happened behind the scenes of our favorite Kdramas?

Note: This is, sadly, all fictional and created from the depths of my own imagination. But in the end, who knows what happened in those rooms back then?

1. Heartstrings

In the writer's room:
Pyo Min Soo (director): Alright, ever since the end of You're Beautiful, the internet has been demanding to see a happy ending for Kang Shin Woo because seriously, he must be the most pitiful character in all Kdrama history.

The Hong Sisters (Writers): Soooo, what do you want us to do Director?
Director: What I want?! All I ask for is that you guys cast Park Shin-Hye and Jung Yong-Hwa as the main leads of a drama. The rest? I don't care what the hell happens during it all, as long as they end up together in the end, okay?!

Or, this is what all You're Beautiful fans imagined it to be. Those two actors are seriously stuck together by the shoulders! Don't forget, Yong-Hwa was originally going to be cast in "The Heirs" as well, until he declined the offer. If that happened, they would have been co-actors for the THIRD TIME. Are these a match-made by the Kdrama gods or what?

3. The Heirs

In the conference room after characters have been cast:
Kim Eun-Sook (Writer): Wow Director, that is a LONG line-up of actors you have there.
Kang Shin-Hyo (Director): Yep, this drama is guaranteed to earn awards! With all these idols, we are BOUND to have the support of thousands of Kpop fans ALL across the world!
Writer: And having Min-ho and Shin-Hye team up? Director, you are a genius! It makes me giddy just thinking about them together! (Eun-Sook suddenly realises something) *gasp* Ummm Director, there's something we haven't covered yet...

Director: What is it?
Writer: ...What are we going to name the drama?
Director: ...Urhhhh I-hehe-I haven't thought of it yet...
Writer: B-b-but Director! The script reading starts tomorrow!!
Director: Come on Eun-Sook ah, you're the writer! I'm sure you can figure something out!

And so, they decide to go with "The Heirs", also known as:
The Inheritors
The One Trying to Wear the Crown, Bears the Crown – The Heirs
He Who Wishes To Wear the Crown, Endure Its Weight – The Heirs
One Who Wants to Wear the Crown Bear the Crown – The Heirs
Those Who Want the Crown, Withstand the Weight of it – The Heirs
i.e. THE MOST LONGEST TITLES FOR A KDRAMA IN ALL OF KDRAMA HISTORY! And not to mention the MOST titles ever given to a Kdrama. Seriously guys, what the hell happened in that room?!
So, there you have it! The embarrassing X-files that the directors and writers never wanted you to know. The fake truth is finally out!

Out of total curiosity, what other dramas do you believe were created out of some wacky idea a writer or director had? Leave them in the comments down below. Otherwise, let me know if you ever thought that this is how these dramas came about! Thanks for reading~

P.S. If this seems too offensive to you readers, please remember that this is, in the end, a joke. Please forgive me if I have offended anybody...especially you Hyo-Jin unni...so sorry about the cover photo...

1. [+338, -13] Youngdo-ya, it's a crush because it hurts... and why does Eunsang make it harder by showing so much chemistry with Youngdo ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ She's a great actress who matches well with every male cast member... I love Eunsang, Tan, and Youngdo, all of 'em...

2. [+280, -12] I feel bad for Youngdo but... it was cool to see Eunsang treat him coldly when she bumped into Youngdo while coming down from the rooftop. She has a quiet charisma to her ㅋ

3. [+238, -17] Youngdo's crush needs to stay a crush to be beautiful and to maintain his character... I hope they don't hook him up with some other character just for the sake of giving him a match... I trust scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook to not do that. Please just leave Youngdo's love for her as a crush.

4. [+31, -2] He's never received love so it's probably hard for him to know how to give it

5. [+26, -6] The police is here!! kya ㅋㅋㅋ Protect Eunsang from now on

'Marry Him If You Dare' Jung YongHwa confessing his heart to Yoon Eun Hye

Embedded image permalink
[TV Report=Lee Woo-in] Jung Yong-hwa is expected to make a sweet and romantic propose toward Yoon Eun-hye with roses.
The seventh episode of KBS2’s drama series 'Marry Him If You Dare (written by Hong Jin-a, directed by Kwon Kye-hong, Yu Jong-seon)’ to be aired on November 4 will feature a scene where Jung Yong-hwa proposes to Yoon Eun-hye with a bunch of roses. Jung Yong-hwa is expected to fascinate female viewers with his romantic and sweet rose propose.
The propose scene is particularly impressive since Jung Yong-hwa will openly show his heart toward Yoon Eun-hye with his friends congratulating him on it in a festive mood.
He will reveal a manly aspect instead of the previously tender and considerate man. Eyes are on whether Yoon Eun-hye will accept his proposal amid the triangular relationship with Lee Dong-gun and how the sweet and subtle relationship will play out in the future.
Jung Yong-hwa’s fascinating and romantic propose scene characterized by colorful balloons, candles, and flowers was filmed at a bar in Cheongdam-dong on October 27. For the scene that will be an important turning point for the triangular love line in a slightly changing fate, Jung Yong-hwa made a thorough preparation by keep checking his script and focuses on the character’s emotion.
The actors repeated their lines and became their characters completely. Even in an untidy filming site where over 20 staff members and supporting actors were busy preparing for the filming, Jung Yong-hwa was immersed in Se-ju’s emotion.
Most of all, the filming lasted from 1 pm and lasted for over five hours into the evening. Jung Yong-hwa repeatedly tried different depth of emotion, eyes, and tones in his speaking lines before asking for another shooting. During a break, he did not leave the director and checked his acting through a monitor. It is said that his great concentration power wowed the staff members.
Jung Yong-hwa moved other actors and staff members by taking care of them first even when he must have been tired due to long hours of filming. When special effect haze kept covering Yoon Eun-hye’s face, he fanned the haze off. He also drew laughter by making hilarious faces with a V finger sign when he found a camera shooting the making-film process.
The production company Annex Telecom said, “The propose scene is an important one where Jung Yong-hwa, who was carefully approaching Yoon Eun-hye, openly confesses his heart to her. Please look forward to a fantastic and romantic scene made by everyone’s enthusiasm.”
‘Marry Him If You Dare’ is aired at 10:00 pm every Monday and Tuesday.
